"Have You Thought About Death Lately? Heaven on our Minds"
The first anniversary of the original COVID-19 shutdowns in Michigan are upon us as we approach this Lenten Season. By this time, almost all of us know someone who has been affected by COVID in some way, and many of us have had a fleeting thought or two about whether or not we might be next. For adult education during Lent, we will teach you how to make your own end of life plans, so that your loved ones feel secure honoring your wishes when your earthly journey ends.
Classes will be the five Wednesdays in Lent, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24 at 7:15pm on Zoom (sign up below). Each week covers a different topic, so come to the ones that fit your schedule. Click here at 7:15 pm Wednesday to join the education series.
We will cover topics such as:
• End of life decisions
• Funeral planning
• Estates, trusts, and wills
• How to be with and support someone who is dying
• Singing our way to heaven
Please join us this Lenten season to discuss these incredibly important topics. If you’d like information such as Zoom link reminders sent directly to your email, please sign up to receive information using this form. https://forms.gle/jkxQEpWiKGR1Yjo67

As a congregation of the Southeast Michigan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we are a faith community that is deeply rooted in Lutheran Theology. We have an open door policy. We welcome all.
We usually worship at 10:30 AM Sunday mornings, but following the guidance of our Bishop we will be suspending in person worship through the duration of the pandemic. We are listening to the advice of medical professionals, and we hope to be able to gather for worship when it is safe for our most vulnerable folks to do so.
